Being a teacher can be a very rewarding career. As someone who values education, it can seem less like a job but more like a hobby when you teach. For most, in order to become a teacher, you will have to complete a bachelor’s degree in your area of interest as well as a teaching preparation program. For some people, they go on to earn their master’s degree. This will help you teach upper-level education. Before you graduate, you will usually need to complete a student teaching program and spend time observing a teacher while they teach.
